Statement from American Tattoo Society

We want to address some recent confusion regarding the tattoo studio currently operating on base.

To be clear: American Tattoo Society is not affiliated with the on-base studio or the group currently operating it. Our team has officially exited the base as of the 3rd quarter of 2025, and we are no longer involved in any on-base operations.

We’ve also been made aware of serious concerns involving forged documents submitted to the military allegedly from the Association of Professional Tattooers by individuals associated with one of the current operators. We want to state unequivocally: this behavior has nothing to do with us and does not reflect our standards, values, or reputation.

ATS has spent nearly a decade building trust with service members, artists, and the broader tattoo community by doing things the right way, even when it’s hard. That hasn’t changed.
